bitching bout my workplace, episode 3

all i wanted is to have a quiet life. come to wrk do my things, maintain good relationships with office ppl den go home after work. but it seems so difficult here. when i 1st joined, it was still ok. lunchtime was simple with the lunch ppl. no need to beware wat u say or siam who cause dun wan 2 lunch with her. office was ok n every1 was friendly to one another except for tt few ramblings bout 1 or 2 spoilers.

but within a short period of 1,2 months, everything seem to go haywire and ppl started to get unhappy or unfriendly. ppl got sacked, mass resignation and backstabbing. its really terrible. i've nvr seen anything lik tis b4. my previous companies oso nt lik tt. very family like and helpful towards one another.

this place really makes my morale very low n spoils the mood. it makes me dread about mondays-fridays and sometimes (well, most of the times) saturday mornings. i really hate tis place and i hope i can get out of tis hellhole soon. b4 i go down with it.

Dont ever go to 湾仔香港茶奶店 Wan Chai Hongkong Tea Room at IMM lvl 3 beside Daiso. The food taste terrible, quantity is pathetic, customer service is lousy, staff throw utensils on your table and show your black face and some of the porcelain utensils have chipped surfaces that could cut yiur lips. Horrible place to eat.

Welcome back to episode 2 of
"bitching about my workplace"

at my workplace, we are supposed to come up with 2 suggestions annually. most of the time, the more conscientious among us will think of processes which we could improve on and use them as suggestions to meet our quota.

Recently I suggested something which I thought could really make life better for the affected staff. Being an obedient staff, I wrote in and submitted the suggestion. Just as I thought that wow my first suggestion is going to get implemented, I get news that it was rejected. So I say, well at least I tried. Little did I realize that things are not as simply as I thought them to be.

Apparently, my idea was “adopted” by the managers. They accepted it among themselves, revamped it and used it as their own submission. As if turning around and getting my ass fucked wasn’t enough, they had the cheek to confront me and asked why did I use their idea, change it and submit as my own. Me, myself and I being alone was of course unable to defend against the horde of bitches and succumbed to their ramblings.

in an organisation, u'll meet all sort of people. let us talk about 2 types of people we meet today. how would you like to have backstabbers and superiors who show favortism at your workplace? an absoulute knockout.

at the place where i work at, there is tis particular staff who likes to backstab people. she is the troublemaker who always likes to get others into trouble. a more appopriate way would be to say that she is a double headed snake. she will say 1 bad thing about A toB and likewise say 1 bad thing about B to A, thus making them dislikeeach other. she would complain to the higher management of small little triffles and get affected people into big trouble for small matters. she likes to meddle in other people's private affairs and spread the news around once she gets it. when questioned, she wil pretend that she is not the 1 and say "wow who is that person who spreads rumours?" nice isnt it?

as if havin a backstabber isnt enough, the managers here show favortism. certain ppl in their clique can "choose" their portfolio. they can say no when given a specific task and simply push the work to other ppl. when this happens, the work that needs to be done simply falls onto the next available poor soul. these staff can take their own sweet time and cluster fuck every morning to chitchat while the managers do nothin. while some other staff not under her favortism tries the same thing, he or she wil get a warning or simply get shooed lik a herd of cows. u as a leader of the grp show favortism to selected staff. ppl whom u dun show favortism will be sure to dislike u. the people here simply throws work to others and talk withou using the brain.

few days back, while passing by the roadside near by neighourhood, i saw a family of dogs lazing there. there were 2 adult dogs and quite a litter of puppies, about 3 or 4 of them.

few days after seeing them, i took the same road again. this time round, i saw none of the family but only 1 puppy. only thing is, the puppy was lying in a bloody pool of mess with bits and pieces of it corpse all over the road and crows were having quite a feast there.

people (if anyone still bothers to come here), please watch the road closely when crossing them. life is very very brittle. cherish it and spend quality time with your loved ones.

i'm not a happy person, or should i say i'm not a very happy person. don't get me wrong. my family and my girlfriend gives me alot of love and support. i'm just unhappy with the society that i live in, thats all.

working in a big organisation gives u the opportunity to meet all sorts of personalities. some whom u nvr tot even exists. some high lvl ass there look at u as if you're some kind of freakshow, ashamed to be seen standing beside u.

doing work for some ppl while they claim all the credit and get the high salaries and u stick to that miserable pay. in addition, no one gives a damn about the hardships n suffering u have to go thru to get tt shitwork done. some ppl are good, willing to lend a helping hand. but more often than not, most of them will take the chance to exploit u at any costs.

i simply cant stand it anymore. who? its my grandma.

she has this medical appointment at ttsh this coming thursday. due to the swine flu, i told my parents to advise her to postone it to another day. her extremely stubborness gets in the way and she simply doesnt want to change the date. keeps sayin "nevermind". after i told my grandpa now is really not the time to go there, he can still say "nevermind. if really kenna the swine flu means u're fated". i was like WHAT THE BLOODY FUCK is this? u wan to implicate the whole family? dont be so selfish can? u not afraid to die, but i am. i am stil young. i dont wan to kena some stupid flu of the pig n die.

i dont even know how should i start this entry. but you can be sure i'm here to bitch.

this morning i've been "forcefully" woken up by my grandpa's shouting. i dun care what they are shouting about. but tt sudden scare woke me up at 7+. i was about to fall asleep from tt shock when suddenly his super loud hp ringtone woke me up again and he talked so loudly on the phone. u are talkin ok? nt quarrelling. so loud for wat? after this 2hit combo, i couldnt fall back asleep since den. i slept at 3+ mind u. tt sudden way to wake me up twice within seconds caused me some dizziness and heart pain. i felt terrible. some of u may ask, since u know every mornin u have a wakeup call, why nt slp earlier to counter tt? its nt i dun wan. but i cant. there's something wrong wif my body. i need to lie at least 1+, 2 hrs before i can fall asleeep. and i am very easily woken by the slightest sounds. it could be insonmia. i dont know. and u expect me to sleep at 8, 9 pm like them? i need my life, please.

is it purely a coincidence? am i being over sensitive or are they really causing my downfall? ever since they moved in, my heath has been gettin from bad to worse. its in a mess. is it the "wakeup call" every mornin? or is the oily, heaty or fried food tt they cook everyday? i know u guys like tt kind of food, but please, think of the health of others in the house as well. if you who's reading this hv been consistently reading here, you would hv known tt they took over my kitchen n living room since the day they moved in.

my grandpa will on that cursed tv every mornin when he wakes and watch some useless taiwan news for the WHOLE day. even when he goes out, the moment he reaches home, he will on tt tv first thing he steps into the house. just like a kid. he will get aggitated when he sees some korean president committing suicide and will start to share his views, LOUDLY. i simply couldnt understand why is he so interested bout those useless news when they dun even concern him, at all. and the electricity bill is running so high because they on the tv the whole day n dont even off it when they are nt watching. u think we own sg's power plants? we NEED to pay for ur electricity bills u understand? why cant u use the smaller tv in ur room? we've installed cable for u right? why did u ask us to install cable for u in ur room when u dun even use it? u think its free? since u're nt using it why dont u give it up and let it be installed in my parent's room? at least i can watch it when u are hoggin my tv in my living room. and the way he lies on my sofa whole day has made the cushion flat on one side. u know who expensive tt cushion cost? thanks for spoiliing it. my dad stil said bout buyin a new HD tv. i tot to myself, "why shld i spend so much money to buy them a tv when i cant even watch it?"

my grandma often sing praises of 1 of the vendors at the sch canteen where she helps out at my aunty's stall. she will always say how good tt person is by saying "ah hong this, ah hong tt". from wat i know, this "ah hong" sells drinks at the sch canteen. every mornin she will prepare a nice set of breakfast just for my grandparents. trying to lick some butt are you? tis "ah hong" can even say my "婶婶" was very wrong to throw them out of the house. if she was their daughter in law instead, she would love them very much and will want to stay with them. if tts really so, why are you having problems with ur own in laws? dun think i dont know anything. i've ears. stop trying to cause more tension in my family and making urself look so "伟大". wat i really cant stand is my grandma always saying how good tt person is. HEY! look here! who took u in when u were chased out of the house? its us ok? u nvr say ur own son or daughter in law is good but always say others is gd. what is this? taking us for granted?

my cousin complain tt his other side's grandaprents wake him up from his sleep when they occassionally visit him in the mornin. he can stil say he doesnt treat tt side of his family as part of his family. in case u havent noticed, it is just one day for you ok? look at me. for me, its EVERYDAY. who are you to complain? i dont really care if he happens to read this and decides to "complain" to his mum or my grandparents. all the better. let it be known. i've suffered and have had enough.

i had tots of killing myself today. no need to continue suffering from my illness, no need to suffer the discouragement for job rejections, no need to have ppl making sarcastic remarks of "oh? u grad so long still looking for jobs?", no need to be a burden on other people, no need to attend gatherings where peers dont even care bout one another and act so fake by sayin" hey how have u been? wa u manager ah? wa xxx juz bought a car, wa xxx is so rich" (u really care whether the other party is dead or alive?) , no need to worry for people i cared about, no need to give advices to loved ones that falls on deaf ears, no need to experience sadness, anger and anxiety, no need to feel insignificant, no need to face them anymore. and the tot havin people to blame themselves for eternity for causing my death brings a smile to my face.

some will say, dont be selfish. people will cry and get sad when u die. well so? perhaps they really will. but only for a short while. since they are the people to taught me "life goes on". as what they said, their life stil goes on, with or without me rite?

i hate this world. its full of suffering, sickness and poverty. human beings are such an ugly race. they dont deserve to live and continue destroy nature. set me free from the twisted, disgusting society.

Life, an unexpected journey. In this 7 - 8 decade long walk, lots and lots of people enter and exit your life. let us talk about people whom i wished i've NEVER met.

1st person to talk about: my ex 叔叔 and 婶婶

why do you call your 婶婶 'ex', some of you may ask. is she divorced with your 叔叔? or has your 叔叔 left this world? well, my answer is neither. i simply call them 'ex' because since tt day when she came over to my place with my useless 叔叔 and made a big family mess, i've never considered their whole family as part of my relatives anymore. this includes my cousins. i hear people askin "but the kids are innocent. why boycott them as well?" my answer is simple. i simply DO NOT wish to have anythin to do with those rubbish people anymore. they've made my current life a mess and i will HATE them forever until i breath my last breathe. even if one day they decided to repent and ask for forgiveness, i will tell them "eat my shit, den MAYBE i might consider forgiving you. but most probably i wont".

now that is some serious matter. what in the world have them done to deserve such treatment from me? oh the answer is very simple. they,

simply THREW my grandparents (who were living with them before) out of their house.
they have another bungalow somewhere at sembawang but said they will only let my grandparents stay there if we pay him $3000 a month. (i say UP YOURS!!)
then tt bloody 婶婶 threatened she will divorce my 叔叔 if they continue stayin with them. (go ahead. i would like to see your family is small little broken pieces)
then my poor homeless grandparents came to stay over at my place.
they take over my living room and kitchen and moved into my brother's room,
forcing him to come and stay in my room (a terrible choice, we quarrel almost everyday because of our differences).
my room looks like crap now and is so crampy because of havin to squeeze in his stuff and
i almost kick the legs of the chair everyday because of this.
i am almost woken up everyday by their loud talkin about nonsensical stuff or
their loud tv on some taiwan news or
their loud discussion on whether that convict in the news (who is half the world away) deserves what he gets, which i dont even care whether he gets life.
they take over the kitchen, cookin every meal if they are at home,
making it impossible for my mum to cook (mind you, i love her cooking very much) and
making it impossible for me to whip up a nice meal for my family.
they cook very oily food (such as 卤猪, which i hate very much) and
always cook those few dishes ONLY.
we used to have a small family dinner (just the 4 of us) OUTSIDE during the weekends (which loved cause it gave me time to chat privately with my dad, mum and brother) but these have to be cancelled cause my parents say my grandparents spend alot when eating outside.
they assume what they like to eat i will also like and
they took over my fridge.
they make a fuss when i dont eat dinner with them (i have the right to eat at my own timings right?)
i cant read books anymore when eating cause of that.
they make comments (behind my back. dont think i didnt hear it) bout wat i wear when i go out (i hate it),
ask me why i never eat (those dishes that i dislike).
they hog my tv (its on since they wake until they slp, only resting sometimes if they take a nap). you have a big tv in ur room with cable installed for you, why don't you use it?
talk very loudly when i'm watchin tv (which i cannot stand being disturbed)
and they leave a weird smell in my bathroom.
i can only make empty complains about all these issue.

i dont hate my grandparents, well maybe irritated thats all cause i know all these differences is because of our difference lifestyle practices and upbringin and because they came suddenly into my life and disturbed my simple life which i enjoyed for the past 25 years. say me unfilial if you want. i dont think i'm wrong. i'm merely 'complaining'. everyone complains these days.

with all these issues, you really cannot blame me for hating my ex 叔叔 and 婶婶 right? they disrupted my life with all these nonsense and are the source of trouble cause they 'introduced' my grandparents over. if i see you on the streets, dont expect me to even say a hi. worse of all, my cousin stil can come and say: "aiya no choice ma" well my answer is "u wan stay wif them? if not, shut up". i would really like to use some language that most of you would not want to hear. problem is, i dont want to 'dirty' this space.

different kinds of people have different mindset. even twins who are the doppleganger of each other do not even have the same reactions. they think differently, they act differently. some are responsible souls who manage things properly all the way till the end. some act busy but actually does very little work while some others dont even give a damm shit at all.

mind my language won't you say? but i did experience the latter. at that very place where i frequent almost everyday, i encounter that very lot. they find excuses and put priority on the wrong areas. true to an extent humans are a selfish lot and if i don't care for myself, who will? but sometimes, don't show it until its so obvious, you make people feel nauseous just by looking at you.

speaking of such, why do people meet? some come in your life, make a mess and leaves. some are like an ad on the bus, stays with you for awhile and someday you'll forget about it. some make your life so comfortable and happy, you wish you'll be with that person till the end of time. i am, mind you, stil waiting for her whom i will want to bring to our utopia and spend the rest of our lives there. will she ever come to me? will we ever be? pray tell, for i know none of such an answer.

finally completed OKAMI for the first time after playing for 50 over hours. managed to get S-Rank for everything and 100% completion. this is the only game that moved me to tears. the part when Isshun left Amaterasu for the final battle and painted urge everyone to pray for Ammy's final battle as a great god. everything bout it is absolutely perfect. the storyline, graphics, battle system, soundtrack and everything else.

the interiors were beautifully decorated with drawings of british stuff like the london bus and the streets of england

and this was what we had. 12 nuggets, 6 pieces of chicken, 2 big bags of onion rings and fries, one benitto styled chicken and 2 cans of ice lemon tea.

buffet was damm cheap only $10 per person.

food is fresh and the spice seasoning tasted just nice. the boss even personally sat at our table to have a chat with us. nice ambience, cheap and good food together with friendly staff makes it a definate return for us.

till now, holidays are already halfway gone

last sunday was out wif jackson for dinner at the renovated chinatown wet market. that guy wore a smart office wear to meet me. handsome ah. we waited 1 full hour just to taste the claypot rice which i cant even read when written in chinese.

den we chilled at starbucks and walked all the way to singapore art museum

mon was yani's bday and wed was bryan's birthday. went to fish and co at glasshouse on tues wif bryan, yani, phyllis, peijun, amy and angie to celebrate. thanks to bryan for accompanying me on a train ride all the way to sembawang.

wanted to treat him to sizzler on thurs

and his specially imported birthday present (tanaka reina photobook) reached by mail on wed evening so was just nice. took a photo of it while i was on the cab to meet him coz i was late. supposed to meet him 12 at cityhall but i was stil on PIE at 1215. he was happy and abit surprised when i gave it to him. and ended up him treating me sizzler instead. thanks ah!

we went to IT fair after tt and watched the sony show. nice~!! walked around for almost 2hrs den we walked to bras basar to look for his cd box. stopped by at mac, helped the manager to do a survey and got $5 mac voucher so we got 2 free coke on the house.

went to popular at bras basar but the cd box was out of stock so have to wait for few months. left there at around 7 and we trained to amk while he got off to meet his frens and i continued back to woodlands and met them all for supper. glad that bryan liked the photobook and the dvd. next week will be meeting again for projects.

and hell week awaits when school reopens again

every morning, i will experience the beautiful richness of jam. first, my wonderful breakfast of bread with jam. secondly, the stupid printer will always experience a paper jam whenever i print my lecture notes after eating my breakfast. and after printing my notes and i head for school, i get stuck in a bloody traffic jam for one and a half hours. everyday without fail. ah! jam, dont you simply just love it? NOT!

just finished season 3. as usual prison break blew me off my seat again. 1 word: amazing! sadly its too short but season 4 is well on its way coming by late 08.

the skyline of singapore never fails to amaze me. it has always been rather beautiful. take an evening walk around 5,6 pm in the afternoon along the banks of the singpoare river and you will get what i mean.

the banks of the river led me to fullerton, one of the most luxurious hotels in singapore. admiring its grand architecture, i couldnt help but think: while someone is enjoying a steak dinner fit for royalty, there is another person dying of hunger at the other side of the world at the same time.

as the cat lazes in the sun with her kitten, i found an urge to sit beside them to witness the arrival of dusk together.

no doubt there is beauty, but there is sweat as well. truly there are many, many wonders to behold in this messed up world, but can there possibly be anything more wonderful than our own lives? to walk, run, swim, drive.

and even to fly..

all we need do is simply conceive of these notions and then act them out. the wonders are part of the mundane.
the process of living is simply amazing.

take a look at this alleyway. perhaps it captures not your attention when you compare it to another beautiful scenery. but try to view the world in another way. close your eyes and use the inner you to feel it. perhaps you'll see another side of it. maybe one day or another, we may finally undertstand that within the heart lies happy and beautiful things that holds the place called utopia

that downpour lightened to a drizzle. its as if the lightening of the rain's to signify the beginning of dusk. as the late afternn sky darken to an early evening, i could clearly see the colors of the surroundings changing around me.

walking down the streets, i saw some people running for shelter, couples walking together on the streets, shielded from the rain with help from an umbrella. a mum was scolding her kid across the street while another man walked passed me, aided with a walking stick, had wrinkles so visible, i thought they looked like cracks in the soil on a hot day. down that alley, some backpackers were, i believe, looking for an inn to lodge for the night.

a simple evening spent chilling in the drizzling rain could easily satisfy my getaway from the hectic urban life. a time to chill and relax. to prepare myself mentally, as i proceed to the final semester of my school life bounded to start next week. as i sipped my drink at the cafe, i cant help but think how tis beautiful evening would have become perfect if this evening could be shared with people whom you love.

2day is a good day to catch up on old stuffs

completed both soviets and allied sides for the 1st time after playing red alert for 10 years

finally found and rewatched Ferngully after searching for it for almost 20 years

was out with jackson this afternn

had lunch at amoy street food centre den we explored
red design museum

then we explored tanjong pagar and found this really old neighbourhood in the middle of the city area. look at the contrast between the flats and the buildings beside them. its even has a mini farm with hydroponics planting and an abandoned swimming pool. wanted to take a photo of it but my cam suddenly no batt auto shut down. next time den take again. IF i'm going back.

and both of us came 2 realise we hv similar interests in nature and scenery. nice! and it took 5years of frenship just to realise that. and we decided to meet up once every few weeks to have exploration of old sites in Singapore and photography session. now i cant wait for the next session to come. its so fun! =)

1. took a bloody wrong bus and it took me 2 bloody hrs home all the way from esplanade to great world to bukit timah.

2. wanted to cut some lousy fring and ended up cutting my finger

4. asked 4 ppl to go IT show with me and got rejected as well.

5. planned to do somethings 2day and everything went off schedule.

instead of being a good boy and revise for my exams, i wasted the whole day yesterday playing games and watchin shows again. which is nothing new thou. completed Demento again with ending c "Dona Nobis Pacem", which is latin for Give Me Peace. this time, i took only 1h and 36mins to complete. and managed to unlock the frog suit. now all's left to unlock is hewie's stuffed puppy suit.
and to revise for my exams.

Some Random Stuffs

1) cma paper was not as hard as i thought it to be. lucky. now on to study hrm, om and ipt.

2) completed Demento in 7hrs. managed to obtain the best ending "Fortes Fortuna Juvat" where Fiona and Hewie escapes alive and Debilitas is not a foe anymore. "Fortes Fortuna Juvat" is Latin for "Fortune Favors The Brave". one of the best games i've ever played. or maybe its the best game i've ever played. thanks to Capcom for this release. now playing hard mode with some speed runs. on to unlock the rest of the endings and costumes. and yes, this game still gives me the scares.

3) and thanks to belinda, zhenshun and huili for the radio. classic. nice.

1) ocean's 13 is better than 12. but 11's stil the best.

2) rewatched shaolin soccer and the simpsons movie

3) i wish i can drive like Jason Statham in transporter 2

4) and hv Mel Gibson's ability to know
what women really want

5) bring it on was nice. shake tt bon bon.

6) i want to clone myself too.
like those rich and famous in the island.

7) meet the spartans was a total crap show. 300 is better. way lot better.

8) poseidon rocked my off my chair. nice!

9) and i finally completed final fantasy 12.
after playing for like 1 and half years?

now now, was i supposed to be doing something else instead of all this entertainment?

chinese new year seemed to pass like a breeze.

this was wat we had for reunion dinner on new year's eve

every year's the same thing
buddha jump over the wall

consists of shark fin

abalone and alot more of other expensive stuffs

this pot alone caused my grandpa $5000 - $6000
not to mention the other dishes

this was 1st day at grandma's house

then, we had lobster and jelly fish at my place on 2nd day

stayed at home this 2 days and did a minor movie marathon

1) finally watched oceans's 12. but it think 11 is nicer thou 12 is just as nice.

2) rewatched pirates of the caribbean 3: at world's end and Dragon Tiger Gate

3) teenage mutant ninja turtles was ok. but abit to cartoony.

4) my bf is type b was funny. and their love makes me think of you.

5) kate and leopold was watched a year late.

6) american pie beta house is the 6th american pie movie i've watched. as usual stiffler's up to no good again.

7) into the blue has a normal story line. but paul walker & jessica alba's nice bodies makes the time all worthwhile.

8) and i finished the whole series of kimi ga nozu mi eien.
one of the few animes that make me tear.
